I am dedicated to promoting diverse energy sources and looking for ways to invest in both generation and capacity while locking in fair rates for residents. I will work hard to ensure a resilient future for Douglas County.
Prioritizing Grid Modernization
I will advocate for investments in grid capacity and smart grid technologies to improve efficiency, reliability of service, and resilience.
Promoting Energy Conservation
I will support programs and initiatives that empower residents to make informed choices to reduce their energy consumption as well as their monthly bills.
My Commitment To Serve
I am deeply passionate about serving our community I have served as city councilman for the city of East Wenatchee for the last 7 years and ensuring that the residents of East Wenatchee had a balanced voice to address their concerns, and we kept the budget balanced and managed difficult choices effectively.
I envision a future in which Douglas County thrives on a foundation of affordable, reliable, and clean energy. Building on the great work we have done with the fish hatcheries and salmon recovery.
We are facing new challenges, and with the right leadership and preparation, we will be able to not only meet those challenges but maximize benefits from the solutions. Energy and capacity shortages are issues of national significance, and we need solutions at all levels of government- federal, state, and local- to protect Douglas County’s interests. Our public utility must lead this conversation with transparency, we must be transparent with our community about the challenges we face and the options we have at our fingertips to address them.
